Welcome to Gladden Elementary!  I look forward to working with you and your family as I believe that partnerships with our school community remain vital to our growth and development as a school. This is my 21st year in education and my sixth year serving as principal at Gladden.  Previously I have served as the assistant principal at Mill Creek Upper Elementary and Kentucky Trail Elementary in Belton.  I have also taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade.  My love for teaching began during my high school years when I was a Belton High School student.  I continued my learning in education through the University of Central Missouri as well as Baker University.

I truly believe that our staff work very hard to foster a caring, supportive learning environment that makes our school feel like the family that we are.  We value your involvement and support in your child’s education and we look forward to working with you and your family this school year to make our school the best place to learn and grow.

What a fantastic year it is going to be!
